Platini: Madrid Have Wrecked Transfer Market; New Rules In 2012
The UEFA president, Michel Platini has censured Real Madrid’s movements in the transfer market, as they have spent close to €200 million just to sign Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema this summer.
Michel Platini said that: “Real Madrid have ruined the market, making these lavish signings will fuel a rise in inflation, which will impact negatively on all the clubs across Europe.”
He also said: “In 2012, we will introduce financial fair play, clubs would only be able to buy players with their own resources, without any external aid to abet speculation.”.
