He has revealed that he is interested in joining Championship side Newcastle United.

The 35 year old considers Newcastle a big club and likes the prospect that they could be heading back into the premier league.

Bookmakers have started taking bets on which club he will join. A high number of premier league bets have also been placed, so who will he join?

However before Campbell joins another club, Notts County have to release his contract. This is currently being negotiated. The club would like an official statement explaining his reason to leave the club.

In the meantime Campbell has been training with his former club Arsenal to keep his fitness levels up.
