“It deserved the champion title! Let’s see how it will handle in the European Cups”. AC Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri, said on Sunday evening that Juventus deserved to win the Scudetto and said that the difference was made by the participation of his team in the Champions League.
“Juventus deserved the champion title. I must thank to my players for the season that made. We and Juventus are two teams of high level, but the participation in the Champions League made the difference. I am curious what will happen next season, when Juventus will participate in the European Cups. And there were injuries, too many for us” said Allegri.
The Old Lady won the Scudetto, after they imposed in their away macth from Sunday evening on Cagliari, score 2-0, and their rivals AC Milan has lost the derby against Inter Milan, score 2-4, in the 37th stage, the penultimate Serie A.
This is the 28th title won by Juve, after a break of nine years. Turin team has won two titles in 2005 and 2006, but they were withdrawn after match fixing scandal, the incident after the team was even relegated in Serie B.
Juventus managed and a stunning performance this season, in the 37 matches they played in Serie A so far, they were not been defeated by any team.
